Since 2021 I have had the pleasure of working with Esqueleto, a beautifully curated jewelry store, to capture the essence of their unique locations in Oakland, Los Feliz (LA), and Mill Valley.
Esqueleto is the destination for cool-girl jewelry and artisan crafted home decor, founded by jeweler and design lover Lauren Wolf (pictured above). Each store has a unique aesthetic, combining local flavor with thoughtfully chosen decor that shows off their exquisite jewelry and art collections.
Lauren and her team are warm, supportive, and creative, they provide incredible customer service and are just a true delight to work with.
With reflective jewelry cases and big windows, these spaces must be meticulously photographed and retouched. But I maintain that the most challenging aspect of these projects is not getting distracted by all the beautiful goods and shopping while shooting!
